RavenNuke™ CMS 2.40.00 released
RavenNuke™ CMS: flexibility of PHP-Nuke with advanced security, features, & support

RavenNuke™ CMS was originally based on PHP-Nuke 7.6, but has evolved with its focus on security, performance, standards compliance and significantly enhanced functionality.
PHP-Nuke to RavenNuke™: from Flaws to Fantastic
Remember PHP-Nuke? It was one of the original PHP content management systems known for its ability to easily incorporate add-ons. In spite of its weak security record, closed development process, and lack of vendor support, developers around the world contributed thousands of modules, themes, and other add-ons that are still in use today. Its popularity and weaknesses combined to make PHP-Nuke one of the most forked applications available.
Many forks, like RavenNuke™ CMS, started as distributions that included the Nuke Patched security improvements and fixes from NukeFixes.com, the NukeSentinel™ security add-on from NukeScripts.net, and other pre-installed add-ons. These distributions were necessary because the author of PHP-Nuke refused to incorporate the improvements provided by a community of 3rd-party websites that also provided support for PHP-Nuke after PHP-Nuke.org shut down its support forums. One of those sites, www.RavenPHPScripts.com, continues to provide support for PHP-Nuke and is now the home of both RavenNuke™ CMS and NukeSentinel™, among other scripts.
Additional Functions, Tested and Supported for Real-World Use
In addition to the standard functions in PHP-Nuke, to which thousands of fixes and improvements have been made, RavenNuke™ also includes advanced user management, an event calendar, advanced newsletter, flexible feed generation and consumption, flexible error document handling, site / legal documents, short URL support, improved email handling, integrated light box and tool tip functions, and 17 W3C-compliant themes. Intended to support all types of websites, from community portals to clan sites to business sites and more, RavenNuke™ CMS has been reviewed by well-known security experts and all known public access issues have been addressed.
RavenNuke™ is actively supported by the RavenNuke™ team, which uses an open development process with feedback from its growing community of supporters. RavenNuke™ CMS is available at http://www.ravenphpscripts.com and is supported by a team of almost 20 developers, translators and testers around the world using standard open-source development tools like SVN and Mantis.
