Papaya CMS, High Performance Content Management

Papaya CMS is consistently based on open standards, and dispose of a strong modular plugins system with full administration and permission management. The modular architecture of the CMS make it fit with all needs of professional modern websites, even the distribution itself which consist on a basic package and plugins for your different needs. It could be used for small and large projects with extremely very short implementation phases.
The website of Papaya CMS is german only, probably difficult for other communities to access information about the CMS, but according to the website there is many excellent references from German companies and institutions which have been using Papaya CMS for their websites such AGOF, Hardened-PHP Project and many others.
Papaya is powered by PHP/XSLT/XML/MySQL or PostgreSQL with strict separation from layout and logic by XSLT Templates. URLs are optimized for search engines with an intelligent caching system for menus and partial content. Papaya came with a lot of great features which make it very suitable for content management of any website. There is a translation module which helps adding new translation for the backend, but I'm not sure if it have multi-language support in its core.
